PROJECTS

Despite my inclination to wander aimlessly, following my instincts and embracing surprises, I also find value in working with a predefined concept and exploring subjects that intrigue me. My primary themes include identity, emotions, authenticity, perception, and (sub)cultures.

Over the years, I have actively sought ways to deepen my understanding of these themes. Stepping out of my comfort zone, I embraced collaborations with fellow artists. This led me a.o. to dance-filmmaking, the creation of the art magazine REALmag. and my involvement with the art photography collective Föhn.

Latetely, my work has focused on more ‘phantom’ projects that explore the beauty of the unnoticed. I examine the interplay between the visible and the invisible, as you can discover in my new series Eyes on Art.
